CarmyA (human iPS cell-derived cardiomyocytes, monkey iPS cell-derived cardiomyocytes)
The iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes (CMs) of Myoridge Co, Ltd (CarmyA) are high quality CMs induced by using novel chemicals.
When inducing CMs differentiation, we use chemical-defined cultures that do not contain proteins such as cytokines, growth factor, or animal plasma components, enabling stable cell production and achieving relatively high myocardial purity (>90%).
The expression levels of various ion channels such as HERG, KCNQ1, and Kir2.1, which are important for the electrical property of cells, are stable at high levels close to the expression levels in an actual heart.
We have also confirmed the distinctive sarcomere structure that myofibers have developed into, and that 90% of cardiomyocytes are ventricular myocytes.
We are also able to provide GCaMP transgenic cardiomyocytes, which are useful for fluorescence analysis.

Myoridge can create customized iPSCs and CMs according to the customers’ needs by using techniques of genome editing and cell culture. We optimize culture conditions of cardiac differentiation from each cell lines and provide the CMs to the customers.
It is a software developed jointly with LPIXEL Corporation for motion analysis and fluorescence analysis of cardiomyocytes.It corresponds to multi-well plate analysis, and helps to analyze the motion picture and statistical processing of each well at the same time.It is possible to analyze with a fluorescence microscope.
